Impact Companies Holds a Fundraiser for Broken Chains!

On March 30th Impact Companies held a fundraiser for Broken Chains. As we mentioned in our February Newsletter, Impact Companies has taken on Broken Chains as their 2018 charity.

They held a Poker Tournament at their main Las Vegas location with all proceeds going to Broken Chains. They provided free food and drinks; and some fabulous prizes for their raffles.

Pastor Cody stopped by to meet everyone who attended.

We want to thank all those who participated in this event!

Two Lunch Tuesday at Somerset Academy

Somerset Academy
March Two Lunch Tuesday at Somerset Academy was a wonderful surprise for Broken Chains!!

When Pastor Cody got to the school and went where the lunches were usually waiting for him; they weren’t there. When he asked, he was told to go to the gymnasium. When he got to the gym, all of the teachers and students were in there making lunches. One of the teachers told him that they really wanted to bless Broken Chains this month and they had gone above and beyond their normal giving.

They donated almost 400 lunches and over 800 lbs. of food. Peanut butter, jams & jelly, individual snacks, and drinks. So we were able to bless many of our city’s programs that feed the less fortunate in our city.

A big thanks to all the teachers, students and parents who participated in this event!!
