Statement of Faith

Bible: We believe that the Bible is the work of God. It is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, preserved Word of God ( 2 Tim. 3:16, Heb. 6:18, Psalm 12:6–7).

God: We believe that there is one living and true God, Creator  of all things, and infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, co-equal in being, nature, and having the same divine attributes, but differing in their manifestations of work (Deut. 6:4, 1 John 5:7).

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person co-equal with God the Father and God the Son who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment,  and that He is the Supernatural  Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing to the day of redemption (John 16:8–11, Rom. 8:9, 1 Cor. 12 :12–14, 2 Cor. 3:6, Eph. 1:13–14).

We believe that the sign gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongues and the gift of healing (1 Cor. 12:8–10) were not temporary. We believe that the ultimate deliverance of the body from sickness or death awaits the consummation of our salvation in the resurrection, though God frequently chooses to answer the prayers of believers for physical healing. (1 Col. 1:22, 13:8, 14:21–22).

Jesus Christ: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God became man, conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary. As God, Jesus inherited no sin nature making Him the perfect sacrifice for mankind, thus making Him the Savior (Matt. 1:18–25, Heb. 10:5–10).

Man: We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God. He is a trichotomy being. Through Adam, sin and death entered the world and passed upon all men (Gen. 1:26–27, Rom. 5:12–19).

Salvation: We believe that because of the fall of mankind and the penalty being death both physically and spiritually, God provided the deliverance from this spiritual death in hell by the Deliverer; Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Salvation comes by repentance toward God and faith in the finished work of the substitutionary death and the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:8, Acts 20:21, Col. 1:4).

Church:We believe that the local church is an organized, autonomous assembly of immersed believers having New Testament officers, practicing New Testament ordinances and actively engaged in carrying out the ”Great Commission” (Eph. 1:19–23, 1 Cor. 15:51–53, Acts 20:17–18, Matt 28:19–20).

Rapture:We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ and the pre-tribulation rapture.(1 Thes. 4:13–18, 1 Cor. 6:17–18).
